PSA: This week’s power rankings will be a condensed version as I have been busy all week getting final grades in for the first 9 weeks at school.
In 4 weeks, we have seen just as many hold the top spot in the power rankings. There hasn’t been any one team who has solidified themselves as the favorite just yet. Nor has there been any teams who has played themselves out of the playoff picture just yet. The race to the top is still wide open though some have set themselves up in better positions than others.
#1. Blow Your Waddle (up 1):
Since the week 1 loss, this team has rattled off 3 straight wins becoming the hottest team in the league behind stellar WR play. This team has another weapon in WR Johnson now that he is off injury which only adds to the potential for this team to keep a lock on the top spot.
#2. Hung Dawg (up 4):
This is the only other team to get 3 straight wins since week 1, but it hasn’t been on an offensive outburst. Instead, this team has capitalized on it’s opponent’s offensive struggles each week. All that matters Is they keep on finding a way to win.
#3. #SAYHERNAME (no change):
#SHN continues to pour on the points behind star QB Mahomes and company. With one of the strangest games to date since the start of the league, we saw #SHN tie with their opponent Unvaxed Swine.
#4 Unvaxed Swine (no change):
Unvaxed Swine was on the other side of the tie game with #SHN. Coming back up from a clutch performance from Cook on Monday night saved this teams spot in the power rankings and kept them from picking up a loss in week 4.
#5 Basdenators (up 2):
The Basdenators even up their record behind a stable of RBs who had big performances in week 4. Their Star Ekeler doesn’t look as if he is going to slow down any time soon as he consistently hits 20 point performance for the 3rd straight week.
#6 Hurts to Lose (up 3):
This team also got back in the win column with the starting WR duo having huge performances. The TE Thomas has been injured, but the pick-up of Knox should help fill that void in weeks to come.
#7 Team joshholtcamp (down 6):
Team joshholtcamp fell to 2-2 this week because of a lack of offensive production from the starting lineup. The bench performed well and could have made this matchup a lot more interesting than it was.
#8 Mitch, You Guessed It (down 3):
Following a loss in week 4, this GM cleaned house and made 7 FA moves to try and revamp the depth that he is looking for. Let’s see if this helps with the offensive production in the flex spots.
#9 The Fantasy Football Team (up 2):
The Fantasy Football Team has picked up their second straight win and looks to have found their footing after a slow start to the season. It is starting to look like Patterson was the best FA pickup of the season with the outburst he has had.
#10 McRib is back! (down 2):
McRib is back! has found themselves with another loss after this weekend with some subpar WR performances. It has forced the GM to frustratingly place OBJ on the trading block.
#11 Team SheltonTill (down 1):
This team faced offensive struggles this week and found themselves 50 points below their opponents. It is also the first time this season we have seen a starting RB gain negative points.
#12 Bishop Sycamore (no change):
Bishop Sycamore can’t seem to get their offense on the right track. They are the only team whose average is under 100 points per week. We haven’t seen any FA moves from them this week, so it looks like they are sticking with who they have.
